Hopper feeder CA/2

This machine is designed and built to open directly the dyeing cakes with high density.

The hopper feeder CA/2 is built by steel sheet at wide thickness, in order to hold the heavy cakes of material tumbled by the tilting device, and open them.

The 2 conveyors, are realised in PVC, sliding on special holding plate, give the first breaking to the cakes tumbling it from the first to the bottom second one. Furthermore the cake is pushed against the vertical spiked apron.


The inclined spiked apron is realised by multilayer wooden slats where the steel picks are held. The movement of the inclined spiked apron is controlled by inverter.

The combing device is a “triangle” spiked apron is realised by multilayer wooden slats where the steel picks are held, and the movement by 3 cylinders placed at triangle. The gap between the triangle and the inclined conveyor is adjustable accordingly to the material density, and grade of opening required, in order to get an appropriate opening of material. The gap movement can be manual or automatic. The motor of the comber device is driven by inverter. One cylinder of large diameter, with flaps, is provided at the top, on the back of the inclined apron, to discharge the material in a proper and even way on the dryer belt.

The hopper feeder can be equipped with one tilting plate , on its back side, for the tumbling of the dyeing cakes to be opened, onto the conveyor belts,

The machine is placed on 6 motorised wheels sliding on rails. Its movement (backward and forward) can be manual or automatic upon request.
