DRYING UNIT
Type "SD"
Modular design for easier addition of supplementary chambers at a later stage. Machine frame on carrying strcture made of steel sections and cold-printed sheets. Useful working lenght of each drying chamber 3.300 mm. - Useful working width 2.000 mm. power installed on each section: 15 HP for ventilation - 3 Hp for belt-drive. The belt is endless and supported by guides fitted on U-sections being part of the machine frame. Roller chain 100 mm. pitch with rollers suitably dimensioned to prevent jamming of fibres around same. Stationary nylon brush on delivery side to allow for constant and thorough cleaning of the andless belt. The drying chambers is made-up from steel sections and insulating panels stuffed with rock-wool. The outer sides of the panels are made from metal sheet. The endless belt is made up of perforated metallic bars allowing for higher resistance compared to traditional metallic net which latter requires frequent re-setting of tension due to the weight of the material being transported.
ACCESS TO INNER PARTS
Inspection doors and panels are easy to remove for easier and quicker maintenance. The speed of the endless belt is adjustable through variable speed unit.
DRYING TECHNIQUE
Hot air distribution is through perforated metal panels allowings for a most uniform distribution of the heat into the material and thus the highest efficiency. The perforated panels are very easy to remove for occasional cleaning and maintenance. The air flow is from powerful blowing fans, minimum 800 Cubic-Meters per minute. The fans are protected with zinc-plated steel nets easy to remove for cleaning. Recovery of hot air for re-cycling is through the lateral tunnels. Heating batteries are made up with finned tubes for a better heat-exchange. Electrical motors are of enclosed type, auto-ventilated.
ELECTRICAL CONTROL PANEL
Self-standing and separate from rhe machine-body. Including all the necessary appliances like volmeter, ammeter, pushbuttons, warning lights and the like.
AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE CONTROL
Steam laminating system through pneumatically operated valve being controlled by thermostat or microprocessor with transducer 4-20 ma.
